What a great day! Tory & Teddy had a fabulous sunny September wedding at The Dale House in The Bay Head Yacht Club. Tory is a natural beauty , wearing very minimal makeup (plus her husband’s chapstick-ha!) and such a perfect gown by Leanne Marshall. that looked like it was made for Tory with a flowing train that gently floated behind her everywhere she walked. We set up their 1st look on the top of the stairs that lead to the beach at Tory’s family home. We grabbed some portraits on the beach, including Tory & Teddy’s sweet pup, then headed over to BHYC with their parents & siblings. I joined them on the boat and we motored over to the Dale House where guests had already been enjoying a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. The boat pulled into the building and the wedding took place right there on the water with family and friends gathered around the edges to observe. The couple and their family disembarked into the reception, where Katydid Florist had decorated so impeccably! Tons of hanging plants hung from the ceiling and the most amazing tablescapes with so many unique details including strange & beautiful pink sea life under glass domes (Red Sea Fan?) Truly a remarkable transformation of the space! Teddy did his research and found a great non-wedding band called The Mighty Pines (based out of St. Louis!), incredibly skilled musicians who were gracious enough to let T & T’s talented friends sit in for a couple songs. I’m grateful to be a part of such a unique & heart-warming day. Congrats Teddy & Tory!!
