Rosalie + Jason (married) Island Beach State Park/Labrador Lounge

What a way to start of 2015! My 1st wedding of the year could not have been more personal and relaxed. Besides the fact that it was by far the windiest day in recent memory, Rosalie & Jason had a perfectly intimate, laid back and extremely touching big day. Nestled between the dunes, Island Beach State Park supplied an other-wordly backdrop to the short, yet extremely sweet ceremony, officiated by the awesome Andrea Purtell. Afterwards, the newlyweds braved a sandstorm so we could take advantage of the expansive and magnificent beachfront for some portraits. Then it was off to the Labrador Lounge for dinner & dancing with a cozy group of friends and family. Special shout outs to Flowers by Melinda in Lavallette- the table arrangements, as well as the bouquets were stunning! AND to the DJ’s , Street Justice Entertainment (Steff & Matt) Not only were the able to please some family members with traditional Portuguese dances, they also kept R&J and all of their friends on the dancefloor all night with 80’s-90’s alt rock (my kinda party!-I don’t think I’ve ever heard P.I.L. at a reception-yes!) Congrats to these two sweetie-pie soul mates! Thanks for having me be a part!
